  • Condition: These original re-release (R-1980) all black and white movie photographs, each 8" x 10", exhibit pristine, crystal clear images with excellent detail of eight (8) movie scenes. After very close inspection under bright light we found no flaws to report, although possibly some extremely minor issue or issues may have evaded us. To confirm this condition and maintain our usual listing details, let us say that there are no pin holes, no tape or tape residue, and no tears. There is no soiling or smudging. There is no loss of paper or color, and more specifically regarding color there is no fading of the all black and white images. The photos have a high gloss. Beautiful photos that are immediately ready for framing and display. Please review the photos carefully.

    These are eight (8) original photos from the movie

    .  They were distributed by
    Republic
    to continue to promote the movie.    They are not reprints or reproductions.   The movie was originally released in 1956.
    The movie stars
    Kevin McCarthy, Dana Wynter, Larry Gates, King Donovan, Carolyn Jones,
    Jean Willes, Ralph Dumke, and Sam Peckinpah.  It was directed by Don Siegel.
    The Photos are Flat and measure 8" x 10" each.
    These unrestored photos are graded C9, Near Mint.
    Original photos, like original movie posters, are graded, from the top down, as C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine to Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Fine/Very Good), etc.  The clarity of the photos is excellent and they are immediately ready for framing and display.  Six of the 8 photos are the same image as the original Lobby card images.  The other two (one with 3 men and the other of McCarthy torching the pods) are different than the Lobby Cards - at least from what I can tell.   This may be the only chance to obtain these other two action scenes from the movie, although we have not conducted a full search of all available
